Easy-to-use ordering portal brings a gourmet food experience to virtual attendees everywhere while reducing headaches for event hosts.
Boston, MA (September 22, 2020) Revolution Catering today unveiled its national catering service that enables companies hosting virtual meetings and events to offer gourmet food delivery to all meeting attendees in time for the event to begin. The new service, Revco Virtual Catering, is available in all zip codes within the lower 48-states.
“There are very few tangible products being offered to companies that will help them keep engagement and attendance high in a never-ending sea of Zoom calls and virtual meetings. The role of food is too often overlooked in today’s online meeting reality, something people always expected at in-person events” says Kenny Belanger, General Manager and Partner at Revco. “The ability to now bring gourmet food right to the doorsteps of attendees anywhere creates a unique opportunity to bring a truly memorable experience to attendees wherever they are while keeping them engaged and fueled up with healthy food.”
Revco Virtual Catering makes it simple for companies to coordinate gourmet food delivery to as many as 1,000 event attendees simultaneously. Beginning with a brief consultation with the event or meeting host, Revco builds a customized ordering portal for event guests to easily order from an array of high-quality food experiences. While taking care of food allergies, sensitivities, and other cuisine details, Revco also enables the event host to focus on the event programming itself rather than paperwork and process dealing with food delivery at scale.
“Imagine seamlessly delivering gourmet, chef-created meals to a customer attending your virtual conference to their home in rural Montana, 200 miles from the nearest big city. Burger King and McDonald’s may just have been the only options to send them using Grubhub – until now. With Revco Virtual Catering, companies that host meetings and events have the opportunity to truly blow their people’s minds,” says Mike Spiegel, President and Founder of Revco.
Revco’s new national catering service helps companies stay connected to their teams and clients no matter where they’re located. Belanger adds, “The question every company is asking themselves right now is if they’re doing everything they can to protect their company culture and client relationships that they’ve spent millions on cultivating in recent years. Food has always brought people together. Great food now has the chance to bring people together like never before in an otherwise increasingly virtual world.”
Founded in 2015, Revco has shifted away from corporate catering in their hometown of Boston to running virtual event catering nationally alongside weekly meal delivery services throughout the Northeast. Revco will soon begin providing ingredient kits for virtual culinary classes as they approach the upcoming holiday season.
